Marketing Specialist Needed
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
El Dorado Technologies, LLC, requires a mid-level marketing professional to help build and maintain a consistent,
high-quality marketing program for our internal business and our consulting services.
This role blends writing, basic design sense, web and analytics literacy, and practical coordination.
The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail and be eager to help create a positive work environment
and collaborative creative process among geeks, suits, tradespeople, tenants, and homeowners.
Although this is an ideal opportunity for someone who has already built a few years of real-world marketing experience,
all qualified applicants will be considered.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general direction but sometimes without clear guidelines, and while documenting new processes and procedures,
the marketing specialist will be responsible for planning and executing routine marketing activities, including:
-
Maintaining and improving website content (copy edits, new pages, basic HTML, coordinating with technical staff on updates)
-
Developing and maintaining core messaging, service descriptions, and concise sales collateral (one-pagers, capability statements)
-
Writing and editing content for inbound marketing (blog posts, short articles, case studies, client-facing FAQs)
-
Email marketing and list hygiene, including maintaining templates and basic campaign reporting
-
Coordinating simple paid and organic acquisition (local directories, light PPC coordination, basic SEO and keyword research)
-
Social media scheduling and monitoring, with a focus on professionalism and brand consistency
-
Tracking leads and outcomes in a CRM or similar system, and producing simple weekly and monthly reports
-
Coordinating vendor relationships for printing, swag, photography, and other marketing services
-
Supporting proposal and bid responses with formatting, editing, and assembling supporting materials
-
Event coordination support (small local events, partner meetings, trade associations), including follow-up communications
Additionally, the marketing specialist will help identify gaps in our marketing process and propose small,
incremental improvements that are realistic for a growing small business.
Other duties as assigned.
